1104 Treat

Listed at $779,000, 1,537 square feet on a 2,809 square foot lot. This property currently has multiple tenants but will be delivered vacant. The property has a two-car garage and expansion opportunities in the garage. The huge backyard extends all the way to Lucky Street, offering the opportunity to possibly erect a garage or additional unit.

I viewed this house last night. There are three bedrooms upstairs and a large storage closet that would be ideal for adding a bathroom. The entire house needs to be gutted and remodeled. Considering the potential this property offers.... large footprint, large lot, garage and yard... This is a great property for someone looking for a project.

The realtors have already received two offers on this property. One has been rejected and they have submitted a counter-offer on the second. The property will be open for viewing Sunday from 2-3:30.

For comparison purposes - Look what they have done to this house... only 4 blocks away....

Hi Urban,
Thanks for reaching out to me. I've eyeballed this a couple times on MLS, and I felt like it might be a little too close to the noise and activity of 24th street for me. Also, for us this is the upper end of our budget, and this property sounds like it will need more work then we could reasonably accomplish with our current finances (although I love your comparison photos!). I might wander over on Sunday though and check out the open house.
I like the blog and will add it to my list of places to visit.

Thanks Missionite. Yes - this property needs a good deal of work. You probably won't be too blown away when you see it. That being said, there are some cool houses that are well-maintained that come on the market here and there in the mission. They sometimes fly under the radar. You may be able to find one that works for you and yours. Thanks for stopping by...
